The agency also offers interest-free micro-loans to financially poor villagers who are not FRA trainees to help them purchase equipment to start home-based businesses.
The loans, aimed at helping them get rid of poverty and lead a better life, are granted after FRA workers made home visits to find out the needs of the potential business starters. Borrowers repay the credit monthly.
